Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Coffee Totaler website (coffeetotaler.com), placing an order, creating an account, or using any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and place orders on Coffee Totaler. By using our services, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users via email when material changes are made. Your continued use of Coffee Totaler after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
User Accounts
Account Registration
To access certain features — including placing orders and earning Brew Bucks — you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your information updated.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at info@coffeetotaler.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. Coffee Totaler is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.
One Account Per Person
Each person may maintain only one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to exploit promotions, referral programs, or Brew Bucks bonuses is prohibited and may result in all associated accounts being suspended.
Products & Orders
Product Descriptions
We strive to describe and display our products accurately. However, we do not warrant that product descriptions, images, or other content on our website are error-free. Roast profiles and tasting notes may vary slightly between batches — this is a characteristic of specialty coffee.
Order Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is not accepted until we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock unavailability.
Pricing
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order was placed.
Stock Availability
Products are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable after your order is placed, we will notify you promptly and either offer a substitute, delay fulfillment, or issue a full refund.
Payment
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payments via Razorpay, which supports UPI, credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay), net banking, and wallets. All payment transactions are processed securely by Razorpay on their PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.
Brew Bucks Redemption
Brew Bucks (loyalty points) may be used to offset the total amount payable at checkout. The rupee value of Brew Bucks is determined by the current conversion rate displayed in your account. Brew Bucks have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
Failed Payments
If payment fails or is declined, your order will not be processed. Please verify your payment details and try again, or contact your bank. Coffee Totaler is not responsible for charges imposed by your bank in relation to declined transactions.
GST & Invoicing
GST is included in the displayed product prices. A GST-compliant invoice (GST No: 07AERPA6855N1ZU) will be emailed to you upon successful order placement. FSSAI License No: 13324998000242.
Shipping & Delivery
Delivery Areas
We currently ship within India. Delivery timelines are estimates and depend on your location, carrier capacity, and other factors outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by natural events, strikes, or carrier disruptions.
Risk of Loss
All orders are shipped via our partnered courier services. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the shipping address provided. Please inspect your order upon receipt.
Incorrect Addresses
It is your responsibility to provide a correct and complete shipping address. We are not liable for orders lost or delayed due to an incorrect address. Re-shipping fees may apply for returned packages.
Returns & Refunds
Eligibility
Due to the perishable nature of specialty coffee, we accept returns or replacements only for damaged, defective, or incorrectly fulfilled orders. Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
Non-Returnable Items
Opened coffee products, items marked as final sale, and digital products (if any) cannot be returned. We reserve the right to assess returns on a case-by-case basis.
Refund Process
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Brew Bucks used in an order will be reinstated if the order is fully refunded. Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was ours.
Brew Bucks Program
Earning Points
Brew Bucks are earned on qualifying purchases (amount credited per product is shown on the product page), upon email verification (25 points sign-up bonus), and through promotional events at our discretion.
Redemption
Brew Bucks can be redeemed at checkout against eligible orders. Points have no monetary value outside the platform and cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, or sold.
Expiry & Forfeiture
Brew Bucks do not expire while your account remains active. However, Brew Bucks balances are forfeited upon account deletion or if your account is suspended due to a violation of these Terms.
Program Changes
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Brew Bucks program at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from changes to the program.
Prohibited Conduct
You Must Not
Use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or data. Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information. Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access our site without permission. Abuse promotional offers, coupons, or Brew Bucks through fraudulent means.
Consequences
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, cancellation of pending orders, forfeiture of Brew Bucks, and reporting to relevant authorities where required by law.
Intellectual Property
Our Content
All content on the Coffee Totaler website — including text, images, logos, graphics, videos, and software — is the property of Coffee Totaler or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international copyright and trademark laws.
Limited License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without prior written permission.
User Content
By submitting reviews, photos, or other content to Coffee Totaler, you grant us a royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and promote that content. You represent that you own or have the right to share such content.
Disclaimers & Liability
As-Is Basis
Our website and services are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Coffee Totaler's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Coffee Totaler, its directors, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of our services or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of Coffee Totaler shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute amicably. If we are unable to reach a resolution, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
